We Don’t Bite Off
More Than We Can Chew
We are selective with our projects because we like to personally be involved from start to finish.
You will be working with the owner from start to finish. There is no initial sales call only to be pushed off to an employee to manage your project. Decisions are made together and problems are solved together.
Yes, this is a business and we are in it to make money. But we do this because we love the challenge and creative euphoria that comes with making dreams reality. Staring at a floor plan, a wall, or an empty lot and the eureka moment that comes when the perfect design emerges that you will live in every day gives us life!
We don’t take on every project — we take the right ones. If you want something creative, custom, and genuinely one-of-a-kind, that’s exactly the kind of challenge we live for.
About Adam Whitlock
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Adam Whitlock is the kind of builder who treats every project like it’s his own home — because that’s exactly how it started. After years of personally renovating his own properties and developing a natural eye for design, space planning, and quality craftsmanship, Adam made the leap into customer-facing construction and never looked back.
With over 30 remodels and new construction projects completed across the Austin area, Adam brings the combination of hands-on experience and genuine passion to every build. A former college basketball athlete (who can’t hang it up and still plays in men’s basketball leagues with other washed up guys), he carries the same discipline, work ethic, and team-first mentality from the court into every job site — showing up prepared, staying accountable, and pushing through challenges until the job is done right.
Adam specializes in the thoughtful transformation of existing homes. Taking an older space and reimagining it into something more functional and modern, without sacrificing the charm and character that made the home special in the first place, is a challenge he genuinely thrives on. His new construction builds carry that same philosophy — every finish, every structural decision, every detail gets the same careful attention from start to finish.
Honesty and integrity is the foundation of how he operates — and it’s why his clients trust him, refer him, and come back to him again and again. When you work with Adam, you are building a relationship with someone who stands behind his work and will always return to fix issues, genuinely loves what he does, and won’t rest until the finished product is something you’re proud to call home.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a full-home remodel typically take?
Most full-home remodels span several months from demolition to final walkthrough. The exact timeline depends on square footage, structural scope, custom finishes, material lead times, and permitting requirements. During your consultation, we walk through each phase — design and selections, permitting, construction, and punch list — so you have a clear, realistic schedule before work begins. As the project progresses, we keep that timeline updated if anything changes.
Can I live in my home during the remodeling process?
For most full-home remodels, we recommend making other arrangements. Smaller projects — like a single bathroom remodel or an addition with limited impact on the existing space — can sometimes be worked around, but a full remodel is a different experience. We suggest securing a rental for the entire duration and building in extra time, since surprises are common and can extend the schedule. We’ll be straightforward with you about what each phase involves — dust, noise, loss of kitchen or bathroom access — and help you plan accordingly. Options like temporary kitchens and phased staging are always part of the early conversation.
How do you handle changes or decisions made during construction?
Every change is documented in writing before we act on it — what’s being changed, the cost and schedule impact, and your signed approval. Minor selections can often be confirmed on-site, while larger scope adjustments go through a formal change order so nothing catches you off guard. We always encourage decisions as early as possible to protect both your budget and timeline, but we stay flexible when adjustments are needed.
How is communication handled throughout the project?
You’ll have a dedicated point of contact and a consistent communication rhythm — scheduled check-ins, regular progress updates, and clear expectations week to week. We make it easy to reach us and keep you informed on site visits and approvals. When something urgent comes up, we respond quickly so you’re never left in the dark.
What happens if unexpected issues are uncovered during the remodel?
Older homes can hide a lot — outdated wiring, aging plumbing, compromised framing, or moisture damage that only becomes visible once walls are opened. When we encounter something unexpected, we stop work, document what we found, walk you through your options and the associated costs, and get your approval before moving forward. No surprises, no unauthorized work. Our goal is always to do it right so the finished product is safe, sound, and built to last.
